Use of Cardems
Cardems provides digital card games for personal entertainment. You agree to use the app and website lawfully and without attempting to disrupt the service.
Game content
Card games may include scores, statistics and gameplay records. We may update rules, layouts and availability as Cardems develops.
Remove Ads
Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes interstitial ads from Cardems and unlocks all card faces. While your purchase entitlement is active, you do not need to watch rewarded ads, and rewarded ads are not offered. Users who previously purchased this product receive the same benefits without buying again. The price is shown by the relevant store before you confirm the purchase. It does not automatically turn off Usage Analytics.
iOS: App Store
Purchases and Restore Purchases on iOS are processed through Apple and the App Store. Refund eligibility and handling are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
Android: Google Play
Purchases on Android are processed through Google Play Billing. Restore Purchases checks your Google Play account for an existing purchase. Refund eligibility and handling are governed by Google Play’s applicable terms and policies.
To restore a purchase, use the same Apple or Google Play account used for the original purchase. A purchase belongs to the relevant store account and does not automatically transfer between iOS and Android. Reinstalling Cardems does not require buying again when the relevant store can restore your existing entitlement. Deleting the app does not cancel a completed non-consumable purchase. These terms do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Unlocking card designs with rewarded ads
The Original card face is free. Each of the Illustrated, Atelier, Empire, and Maison card faces can be unlocked by completing three separate rewarded ads for that design. Watching ads is optional; you do not need to watch rewarded ads to play with the free card face. You start each ad separately. Each completed rewarded ad adds one step to your selected design’s progress. An ad closed before its reward condition is met does not count toward progress.
Ad availability and loading depend on your internet connection, the advertising provider’s availability, and applicable privacy choices. An ad that cannot be shown or that is closed before a reward is earned does not erase your existing progress. Designs unlocked through ads remain unlocked while the relevant local app data is retained. Clearing app data or removing the app may cause you to lose this progress and these designs. Restore Purchases is for your store purchases; it does not restore progress earned through ads. Cardems does not synchronize that progress between devices or stores. Operating-system backups may retain or restore local data.
Remove Ads is not a subscription; it does not expire or have a renewal fee. If the relevant store refunds or revokes the purchase, only design access that depends on that purchase is removed. Designs unlocked through ads or whose access was previously preserved are not affected.
Availability
Cardems may be unavailable or contain errors from time to time, including during maintenance, platform updates or feature releases. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Open-source software
The Cardems iOS app includes the following third-party software. Each component is provided under its own license, and those licenses take precedence over these terms for that component.
